Language features of advertising in the blogosphere is an important area of research interest due to the growing popularity of blogs as a modern and dynamically developing platform for advertising. Numerous studies have attempted to identify the typical language features of advertising texts. However, there seems to be a considerable lack of studies focusing specifically on advertising in blogs. Existing research has identified certain language features of blog advertising, but a thorough analysis of the linguistic features at each language level has not been conducted. The purpose of the present study is to examine language features of advertising in Telegram blogs from a multimodal perspective. The current study combines computer methods for text extraction, analysis on morphological, lexical and syntactic language levels for identifying language features as well as multimodal discourse analysis for revealing the ratio between the components of creolised texts. The research results in identifying specific language features of advertising in the blogosphere considering interaction between verbal and visual advertising text components.
