This work provides a thorough analysis of the early works of the Vietnamese poet Xuan Dieu based on his collections "Poetic" (1939) and "I Give Love to the Wind" (1945). It examines works dedicated to Vietnamese literature from 1930 to 1945, specifically the poetry of Xuan Dieu. Additionally, it analyses approaches to translating Vietnamese poetry by Western and domestic scholars, helping to determine the best method for translating Xuan's poetry – interlinear translation with commentary.Analysis of historical events in Vietnam and biographical information from the beginning of the 20th century until 1945 help to identify the factors that contributed to the formation of Xuan Dieu's poetic vision. From this perspective, an attempt is made to analyze the pronoun system found in Xuan Dieu’s works. As a result of analyzing the range of themes in his early poetry, as well as the system of imagery and artistic expression used, it has been determined that Xuan Dieu was influenced by both Eastern and Western literary traditions.
