Faculty: Faculty of Humanities

Educational Programme: Creative Writing (Master)

Final Grade: 10

Year of Graduation: 2024

Growing up in the well-fed 2000s and 1900s is not romantic at all: no bandits, no shootouts. Thirteen-year-old Varya falls in love with boys on her VKontakte page, pretends that she only listens to rock, and dreams of her life being dramatic, like in the movie “The Hunger Games.” But in reality, even a domestic rabbit named Stump has been living for eight years and still won’t die. The collection “Varya’s Love” is, of course, a story about love. But a little different from the one Varya is looking for.
