This study examines the phenomenon of increased sense of time squeeze in contemporary society. It takes into account one of its predictors - time allocation for daily activities - the significance of which is contradictory in the sociological literature. The study is designed to reveal whether the distribution of daily time and its factors are significant predictors of the sense of time squeeze. To answer the posed question, we use data from the Sampling Observation of the Use of Daily Time Allocation by the Population of Rosstat for 2019: arrays of survey data and diaries of time allocation use are combined. The key methods are k-means clustering and multinomial logistic regression performed using the SPSS Statistics program. The results demonstrate that the significant predictors of the sense of time squeeze are gender, presence of children, age, professional affiliation as managers or employees, and the amount of free time and time for family and household. Three types of Moscow workers (“workaholics”, “typical” and “versatile”) with distinctive time budget structures were identified. The structure of time allocation, as it turned out, is not related to the sense of time squeeze, although the amount of time for certain types of activities has an impact.
