The study identifies the main barriers and obstacles that universities and companies face in the process of cooperation and suggests ways to overcome them. Special attention is paid to successful examples of cooperation in Russia, such as the interaction between Skoltech and "Gazprom Neft," TPU and "Rosatom," SPbSU and "Sberbank," MIPT and "Yandex," and UrFU and "RUSAL." In the conclusion, the work provides recommendations for improving cooperation, including measures to simplify administrative procedures, increase funding, develop joint research centers, enhance the qualification of personnel, strengthen interactions between science and business, promote regional development, support the commercialization of scientific research, and activate international cooperation.
