Development of a REST API for the Management System of the New Generation Firewall (NGFW) Software Package

In the final qualifying work, the REST API for the new generation Firewall management System (NGFW) was developed. The goal of the project was to create a user-friendly and flexible API that allows network administrators to effectively manage security settings and receive up-to-date information about the state of the system. Within the framework of the project, requests were developed for monitoring operating system resources, managing access control lists (ACLs), dynamic routing (FRRouting) in the OSPF, BGP, EIGRP protocols, and the intrusion detection and prevention system (Suricata). Detailed Swagger documentation has also been created for all endpoints.
