Assessing Public Awareness of Current Government Support Measures in the Field of Fertility

Public awareness of government support measures in the field of demographic policy is a vector embedded in such strategic documents as the Concept of Demographic Policy and a Unified plan to achieve national development Goals. At the same time, at the moment, little attention is being paid to public awareness by the scientific community. The purpose of the work is to assess the level of awareness of the population about the current measures of state support at the federal level in the field of fertility and to propose recommendations for improving information work in the field under study. Among the main objectives of the study: analysis of existing strategic planning documents in the field of demographic policy of the Russian Federation; consideration of individual measures of state support in the field of fertility in the content of the information policy of fertility support; Assessment of the role of public authorities and the media in the formation of public awareness; Identification of the degree of public awareness of existing measures of state support in the field of fertility; Assessment of the attitude of citizens to existing measures of support in the field of fertility from the position of awareness; Identification of shortcomings in public awareness of existing measures of state support in the field of fertility; Development of recommendations aimed at improving information the population about the current measures of support in the field of fertility. The result of the work is an assessment of the level of awareness of the population about the current measures of state support at the federal level in the field of fertility, as well as the development of proposals for informing the population in the studied area.
