Legal Problems of Implementing Online Sales Channels in Consumer Lending

The research examines the legal problems of remote conclusion of consumer loan agreements through a remote banking system. The purpose of the study is to analyze the legal regulation of remote consumer lending and identify practice of banks that violate the rights of borrowers. It was revealed that failure to provide information to the borrower and the imposition of additional services to the main contract are among the main legal problems. Recommendations for eliminating such practices are also proposed, in consequence of which the research has important theoretical and practical significance in the field of remote consumer lending. Key words: remote banking service, remote consumer lending, credit institution, Internet banking, mobile banking, protection of borrowers' rights.
