Legal Regulation of Crowdfunding in the Russian Federation

The final qualifying work examines the mechanism of attracting investment through investment platforms, known as crowdfunding, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation. To complete the research, the final work considers topics related to crowdfunding, such as utilitarian digital rights and digital certificates – their essence and legislative consolidation. Attention is paid to the prospects of their development in Russia. The main regulatory act based on which this study was carried out is Federal Law number. 259-FZ dated 08.02.2019 «On Attracting Investments using Investment Platforms and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation». The author also drew on his own three years of experience investing through an investment platform.
