The question of why people practice magic in spite of the fact that it doesn't work is, in some ways, a classic one for magic research. The aim of this paper is to define how magic users interpret magical practices as resultative or non-resultative. The research is based on an approach of viewing magic as a social institution in context of uncertainty. To achieve the aim of the study it is planned to conduct interviews with people who have experience of involvement in magical practices.
