This work examines the structure, functions and activities of special purpose units of the Perm province of 1921-1923. Special purpose units (CHON) are military party detachments created by party cells to fight counterrevolution, guard duty, etc. This work outlines the main characteristics and activities of special purpose units of the Perm province during the end of the civil war wars and stabilization of the internal state of the RSFSR/USSR. The work is based on archival sources of GAPK and PermGASPI. Keywords: Soviet government, Bolsheviks, special forces units, Chernivtsi, Red Army, Perm province.
