The success in academics and overall well-being are significantly impacted by self-efficacy, which refers to the belief in one's ability to accomplish tasks and achieve goals. While there has been extensive research on self-efficacy in adults, understanding and promoting self-efficacy in children, particularly in elementary schools, is becoming increasingly crucial. Unfortunately, there is a lack of reliable and validated assessment tools specifically designed to measure the levels of self-efficacy in primary school students. This research seeks to provide educators and researchers with a valuable tool for assessing and nurturing self-efficacy in elementary school children. The study explores the psychometric properties of the self-efficacy scale and examine its correlation with academic achievement and other relevant outcomes. The research involves the sample of elementary school students from Nizhny Novgorod and its surrounding area, Russia, specifically first-grade (3212) and fourth-grade (2877) students.
