The Military-Sports Game "Zarnitsa" in the Perm Region of the 1967-1972s: Organization, Conduct, Functions

The study investigates the issue of the military-sports game “Zarnitsa'' as a part of Soviet military-patriotic education in the Perm region of 1960s. The purpose of the research is to reveal the mechanism of military-sports game “Zarnitsa” in the Perm region in the period of the beginning of game establishment, between the end of 1960 and the early 1970. In terms of methodology, the project is conducted within the framework of principle of historicism, which helps to illuminate a phenomenon as a process in its specific historical conditions and connections. The paper is expected to result in detailed analysis of the military-sports game “Zarnitsa” as an integral part of a large-scale system of Soviet patriotic education. This will consistently bring into light the a multifaceted phenomenon of “Zarnitsa” with its unique and complex pattern of organization and conduction. The work consists of the introduction, the main body, conclusion, and references.
