The main objective of the thesis paper is to assess the problem of patients' non-adherence in Russia, as well as analyse already existing worldwide solutions aimed at addressing this issue. The main goal of the study is to create an MPV of the Smart Pill Box solution for the Russian municipal healthcare system. In order to achieve this goal, I will determine what features Russian users would find most important in a Smart Pill Box, evaluate user preferences and perceptions, and look into potential issues or challenges that might arise when integrating the Smart Pill box solution into the current Russian municipal medical systems' infrastructure. This project will consist of surveys and semi-structured interviews with potential users, including both patients and doctors, there will also be some interviews with specialists of different fields on the step of an MPV prototype development. Case studies on the integration of health tech solutions into current healthcare systems in Russia and worldwide, and published academic articles on medication adherence and healthcare technology will be used as key information sources. Prototyping techniques, MVP development, user surveys, interviews, and other qualitative and quantitative research methods will all be used in the analysis, data collection, and anticipated outcomes processes.
