This qualification work is devoted to the study of digital innovations as a mechanism for optimizing business processes and increasing the efficiency of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. The paper examines the theoretical foundations of digital innovations, analyzes their application in modern companies to optimize business processes and increase the efficiency of M&A transactions, and proposes measures to improve the efficiency of such transactions using digital innovations. The study has shown that the digital transformation of business has a significant impact on the processes of mergers and acquisitions, both quantitatively, through an increase in the overall number and expansion of the M&A market, and qualitatively, through the acceleration of the transaction processes themselves and an increase in their accuracy and synergistic effect from the integration of technological goals using specialized digital tools. Solutions to problems in conducting M&A transactions using digital innovations are proposed, such as the use of virtual data rooms, software import substitution, and the use of artificial intelligence and blockchain. An assessment of the effectiveness of the proposed measures to improve the conduct of mergers and acquisitions transactions through the application of digital innovations is provided.
