Strategies for Organizing Employee Training in Orthodox Socially Oriented Non-Profit Organizations

Training of employees of Orthodox socially oriented non-profit organizations (hereinafter referred to as SO NPOs) engaged in helping people requires special study, since employees of these SO NPOs must know the basics of the Orthodox faith and culture, comply with internal church documents regarding social service, and be included in the Christian way of life activities. As part of the study, the author, based on an analysis of scientific literature and interview materials, identifies employee training strategies used in Orthodox SO NPOs involved in helping people. The result of the study was conclusions about the preferences of managers in choosing training for their employees between Orthodox and secular educational programs, as well as why employees of Orthodox SO NPOs want to study.
