The Role of Football Scouts in the Management Model of Training and Development of Young Talents

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the role of football scouts in the management model of training and development of young talents. The relevance of the topic of the final qualifying work is determined by the fact that professional football is the most dynamically developing branch of the economy. The time and resources invested in the development of football teams require precision in assessing talent. The role of scouts is to identify players with outstanding abilities, which ensures maximum return on investment in youth. The paper reveals the concept of scouts in football, analyzes the criteria for evaluating young talents, systematizes the world practice of applying technological innovations in scouting such as data analysis, video analytics and tactical aspects. The analysis of the management model for the training of young talents is also carried out, a general description of the system of training young talents in a football club is given, current problems of scouts' interaction with the coaching staff are investigated and directions for coordinating efforts for effective player development are identified. Based on the results of the work, the author assessed the role of scouts in communication with the club management and the development of a strategy for the development of youth teams. Additionally, the effectiveness of scouts in evaluating players was assessed and prospects for the development of scouting in football were outlined. The results of the study can be used to build a model of scouts' interaction with the club management and coaching staff of other football clubs.
