"Contaminated Product" in the Sports Nutrition Market: Management and Legal Issues

This research is devoted to the study of the problem of “contaminated product” in sports nutrition. The main purpose of the work is to study the market of sports nutrition, including all stages of its creation, introduction into sale and delivery to athletes. The work identifies the products that meet the criteria of “contaminated product” according to the current legislation. In addition, the authors analyze what legal consequences may arise as a result of the use of such products in the context of sports competitions. In the master's thesis also considered the impact of sports supplements on the athlete's body, the difference between doping and dietary supplements; the process of “contamination” of the product and the consequences of its use for the athlete; legal regulation in the field of sports nutrition. The practical part of the study presents proposals for improving the mechanisms of control over the sports nutrition market and improving legislation in terms of regulating the turnover of low-quality products.
