This paper delves into the intricacies of risk management within the leasing sector, with a specific focus on the nuances present in the Russian market. In an era where economic volatility is a constant, understanding and mitigating risks associated with leasing activities is imperative for sustained growth and stability. Through empirical research and theoretical frameworks, the paper seeks to identify key risk management strategies employed by leasing companies in Russia. It explores various methodologies and tools utilized to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks effectively. Furthermore, it examines the role of technological advancements and innovation in enhancing risk management practices within the leasing industry. To complete this study, different methods of research were used, including qualitative approach, based on review of literature etc, and quantitative approach, based on a regression. In summary, this paper contributes to the understanding of risk management in leasing companies within the Russian market, providing insights for industry practitioners, policymakers, and scholars.
