This study investigates the process of formation of the concept of «artificial intelligence» in Russian-language sources. In the course of the work, three corpora of texts were collected — scientific, popular science and news. Sketches for the word combination «artificial intelligence» were collected on the materials of the corpora, and a Python program was developed, which analyzed the changes in the frequency of sketches. These results were studied in detail and conclusions were made regarding the process of formation of the concept of «artificial intelligence».
