The master’s thesis focuses on a comprehensive description of the linguistic features of generational and gender indicators in the texts of interviews with scholars, as well as the identification of typical indicators that serve to express these values using Digital Humanities methods. The first chapter gives the history of the development of the project of video memories of the elders of the antique Classics «The Owl of Minerva». The article provides the composition of the interview, formulates the goals and objectives of the project, which have changed several times during its development. The working strategies (creation, preservation, study) with digital and technotronic archives have been analyzed. Possible directions of research work from the standpoint of linguistics are presented: genre, discourse, cognitive approaches. The genres of «interview» and «memory» have been defined in detail for interviews with scholars (a portrait of the speech genre is presented, coincidences and violations of the genre model are revealed). The sociolinguistic approach is described separately, since we consider it possible to separate both the social group (antiscientists) and the characteristic «social jargon». Joining this corporation is due to such factors as «place of education» (departments in three universities: MSU, SPbSU and RSGU), «specialty» («Philologist. Teacher of ancient Greek and Latin languages and antique literature»), knowledge of antique languages (Latin and Ancient Greek), participation in publication and scientific activities in the context of «anti-corruption» etc. We can talk about the existence of both narrow area terminology and special professional jargon. The second chapter presents the features of the digital approach in the organization of work. The experience of processing, regulation and reorganization of the digital archive was presented. The features of the implementation of a corpus-based approach to the submission of texts of interviews of antiscientists have been characterized. The obtained body is characterized as being representative, balanced, limited, marked, pragmatic. The choice of digital tools used for further analysis has been substantiated, the stages of machine preprocessing of the text have been described. The third chapter describes possible research strategies and specific digital tools used to identify indicators related to the language representation of the categories «age» and «sex». Research experience of addressing different levels of language (phonetics, morphology, vocabulary, syntax); the most promising areas of work in relation to the studied material are defined: morphology, vocabulary, selection and analysis of case names (names of ancient writers, poets, playwrights).
