Legal Regulation of Environmental Protection During Sporting Events

This study is devoted to the study of the problems and opportunities associated with the introduction of the principles of sustainable development in the sports industry, especially their implementation during sports events on the territory of the Russian Federation. The author considers such issues as the mutual influence of sports and ecology, the development of legal regulation of environmental standards in sports, the influence of the principles of sustainable development on the regulations of sports federations, etc. In the practical part of the study, the analysis of normative documents of international sports federations regulating the principles of sustainable development was carried out. Based on the data obtained, conclusions are drawn reflecting the ways of development of the environmental legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of sports.
