This study examines the impact of policy changes on the Russian labor market. The analysis uses data on unemployment rates, average wages, GDP growth, oil prices, and inflation from 2000 to 2023. Special attention is given to the effects of crisis periods such as the 2008 financial crisis, the 2014 Crimea crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2022 war on unemployment rates. A lagged linear regression model is applied to account for temporal dependencies in the data, providing more accurate predictions.
