This study examines the impact of the Internet on the religious life of Muslims, focusing on the transformation of traditional Tatar Islam in the digital environment. It analyzes new forms of religious identity and practices emerging through the Internet and their interaction with traditional religious institutions and the state. The study emphasizes the need to consider the opinions of Muslims themselves and their active participation in shaping religious life in the modern digital context.
