Interregional Inflation Heterogeneity in Russia

The paper examines the interregional heterogeneity of inflation in Russia for 2002-2021 for a sample of 79 regions. Quantitative analysis and panel data analysis are used as tools to identify mechanisms affecting inflation differences. The hypothesis about the presence of a tendency towards convergence in price dynamics is also tested.
