Development of youth entrepreneurship in the 21st century: experience of Russia and China

This research is devoted to the study of various support programs for young entrepreneurs in Russia and China. It considers public and private measures of support for young entrepreneurs, similarities and differences between the support measures in Russia and China. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the similarities and differences in the existing support measures for youth entrepreneurship in Russia and China. First, the study analyzes the history, prerequisites for the creation and development of support measures, the evolution of programs, a review of current trends in the development of youth entrepreneurship, and a comparative analysis of support programs in Russia and China. Secondly, a social survey and interviews on the work of support programs for young entrepreneurs in Russia and China were conducted, which allows us to evaluate and compare the work and approaches of the two countries.Thirdly, the work summarizes the obtained data to conduct a comparative analysis of various support measures for young entrepreneurs in China and the Russian Federation. The comparative analysis showed that there are similarities in the implementation of national policies and attracting young talent in the two countries. Similarities and differences are noted at all levels, from the different motivation of students related to the national identity of young people in China and Russia to the approaches to the implementation of programs by the government and private organizations. The results of the study contribute to existing research on the implementation of youth support programs. The study may be useful for scholars studying the topic of youth entrepreneurship, private and public organizations implementing measures to support entrepreneurship, and those interested in various programs to support young entrepreneurs.
