Specialists with Chinese Language Skills in the B2B Sector on the Russian Labor Market

This paper studies the state of the labor market in Russia for specialists whose work is related to the Chinese language. The time frame of the current study covers from 2019 to 2024. Additionally, for a more extensive knowledge, the market situation is revealed before the epidemiological situation and with the onset of Russia's new political and economic relations with China since the 2000s. The paper examines the professions for which the knowledge of Chinese is relevant and states the importance of this tool for workers in today's market. The paper also examines the current state of the labor market in Russia and highlights the main features of the B2B sphere, where the requirements of employers from B2B companies are analyzed based on the study of vacancies on recruiting aggregators. This paper also emphasizes the current trends in the B2B sector, which are relevant for the career development of specialists in this category. This paper also highlights modern trends in the B2B sector, which are relevant for the career development of specialists of this category, explores the possibilities of improving competencies and skills for specialists by analyzing preparatory programs and training, as well as reveals mainly the problems that need to be taken into account when working with specialists who know Chinese in the Russian market. As a new format, this study provides an analysis of a survey of respondents with knowledge of the Chinese language and work experience in companies, as well as interviews with specialists with extensive experience in using Chinese in their careers. The work uses materials in Russian, English and Chinese languages, and applies qualitative and quantitative methods of working with information. The paper consists of an introduction, three chapters, each of which is divided into several paragraphs, a conclusion and a bibliography, and an annex.
