Corporate Culture as a Actor in Combating Staff Turnover in Schools

Providing equal opportunities for education is one of the most important priorities of the education system of any country in the world. But at the same time, the shortage of teachers in schools, and especially in regional ones, is a significant problem A topic of concern not only to directors, but also to managers in the education system is the difficulties in attracting teachers to schools and retaining them in the educational organization. Staff turnover is a painful and pressing problem for the modern education system, which is one of the reasons for such attention to it from all participants in the educational process, including researchers studying factors that cause staff turnover or may be the reason for the struggle with mobility or completely leaving the teaching profession. The article presents the results of a study with the participation of 265 teachers from schools in the city of Grozny to identify the relationship between the type of corporate culture and staff turnover in these educational institutions. The study is a survey using the method of K. Cameron and R. Quinn. The hypothesis is put forward that an organizational culture that promotes professional longevity should have certain features, in particular those inherent in this methodology - clan and market types of culture. Types of organizational culture have been identified that reduce staff turnover or create favorable working conditions for employees.
