The study examines the relationship between the available resources in Chelyabinsk schools (and changes in their availability) and student participation in the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren at the final stage from 2015 to 2022. The research aims to explore how the distribution of resources may (or may not) influence the academic success of students and investigates possible factors contributing to the observed trends. Overall, this study analyzes the accessibility of educational resources in Chelyabinsk schools and their correlation with student participation in the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren. However, despite certain correlations between the number of teachers and participation rates, further research is needed to establish a direct link between resource availability and students' choice of academic trajectory.
