The Influence of the Emotional Intelligence of the School Principal on Leadership in the Organization

The study is devoted to the study of the influence of the emotional intelligence of the headmaster on his leadership qualities. The study involved 25 heads of educational institutions. The results showed that emotional intelligence, especially its components related to empathy, self-regulation and social skills, plays a key role in successful leadership. Directors with a high level of emotional intelligence motivate employees more effectively, create a positive atmosphere in the team and contribute to improving the quality of education. The results of the study showed that the development of such emotional competencies as empathy, self-awareness and social skills has a significant impact on the effectiveness of leadership in education. Leaders with a high level of emotional intelligence are successful in interpersonal interaction, increasing employee motivation and creating a favorable psychological atmosphere in the team. The results obtained are of practical importance for the development of leadership development programs for heads of educational institutions. The data obtained in the course of the study can serve as an empirical basis for designing targeted programs for the development of leadership potential in the educational field. In addition, the results of the study can be used to develop valid tools for evaluating and selecting teaching staff applying for leadership positions.
