The results of both Russian and foreign studies emphasize the significance of successfully navigating the adaptation period in educational institutions for the retention of young specialists in their profession. However, statistical data indicates a high turnover rate among educators, particularly in the first years of their careers. This highlights the need for a more detailed examination of the factors influencing the adaptation of young teachers. The aim of this research is to assess the level of adaptation of young teachers in the context of modern educational requirements, as well as to investigate the main factors affecting this process within the system of secondary vocational education. The article presents the findings of a study on the level of adaptation of young teachers and the related factors in the system of secondary vocational education. Data for the analysis were collected through a survey of 310 young teachers from twenty-one educational institutions in the Chechen Republic. During the research, the main challenges faced by young educators were identified. However, despite the challenges revealed during the survey, it is important to note that there is a high level of adaptation among young teachers.
