PROCEDURE
The winners are determined by the Competition Commission by analyzing the normalized citations of publications, taking into account differences in citations by subject area and the contribution of self-citation and citation by co-authors. Experts also assess the academic significance of publications and their contribution to the reputation of HSE University.
The Golden Citation Prize is awarded for publications published six years before the year of the Competition (for example, in 2019 for publications in 2013).
