Needs of vulnerable social groups and accessibility of the environment in Lipetsk, Lipetsk region and Yelets

The project is aimed at identifying the needs of socially vulnerable groups and assessing the accessibility of the environment in Lipetsk, Lipetsk region and Yelets from the perspective of business participation in charity. The study interprets inclusion in a broad sense and defines it as a process of more effective participation in society, especially for people in disadvantaged conditions, by expanding opportunities, access to resources, the right to vote and respect for human rights (includes the environment, services, infrastructure, opportunities for self-realization, including objective discrimination and subjective stereotypes). The study will provide socio-economic characteristics of the study areas, a description of vulnerable categories of the population in the territories, their estimated number, their needs, provision of social services and accessible infrastructure, an assessment of existing programs to support vulnerable groups by federal and regional authorities, socially oriented non-profit organizations and businesses. As a result, this will allow us to analyze the possibilities of intersectoral partnership in order to support socially vulnerable groups and create a needs map using the example of pilot territories, as well as recommendations to organizations implementing social programs.
