Social Inclusion and Diversity Management in Russian Companies in the Context of Global Challenges (HR Managers ' Perspective)
In the context of globalisation, inclusive growth and development are becoming a priority on the international agenda. In particular, the implementation and management of labour inclusion and diversity in the workplace form a particular area of concern. Currently, there is little research on these issues in Russia. The laboratory’s project 'Social Inclusion and Diversity Management in Russian Companies in the Context of Global Challenges (from HR Managers’ Perspective)' led by Christian Fröhlich (PhD) attempts to fill this gap in the frame of the nationally funded Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Center. The aim of the project is to analyse the status and prospects of inclusive employment in Russian companies and the factors that influence domestic diversity management in the light of global challenges. Of particular interest for the study is the clash between the individual attitudes and behavior of HR managers on the one hand and the formal institutions, the domestic and global norms governing social inclusion in the workplace, on the other.
