Inclusive Distance Learning of Students with Disabilities: Current Problems
The lecture presents the results of an empirical comparative study that explored different personal and motivational aspects of the students enrolled at the mixed learning programme of the faculty of Distance Learning of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE), and of the full-time students of the faculty of Educational Psychology of MSUPE.
This study was conducted as part of the PhD research of Uddin MD. Akthera (Bangladesh) entitled "Personal and motivational features of distance and full-time psychology students" (scientific supervisor -B. B. Aismontas).
The study involved 102 full - time students and 105 distance students. A questionnaire on various aspects of distance learning was created for the students of the Faculty of Distance Learning MSUPE, and 5 psychological methods were applied for all students (Level of subjective control; self – regulation method (author-Morosanova); achievement motive test; method of educational motivation (Rean A. A.)).
In addition, the experience of students with disabilities engaged in inclusive education at the faculty of Distance Learning MSUPE are discussed, highlighting current problems in the development of education programs for students with disabilities.
