Seminar "Efficiency of overcoming personal failures by NPO employees: adaptation of the Shepherd model"
On June 28, 2024 at 18:00 (Moscow time), a seminar will be held to present the interim results of a study devoted to the development of tools for assessing the effectiveness of overcoming personal failures by NPO employees.
The seminar will discuss Dean Shepherd's approach to studying how employees overcome personal failures in the course of their work - learning from failures, maintaining motivation for work, and what contributes to this. The results of first theoretical and then empirical adaptation of this model to the NPO context will be presented.
Based on in-depth interviews, it will be discussed which events NPO employees perceive as personal failures, which of them are experienced especially acutely, how the overcoming process is structured and what are the possible consequences.
In conclusion, a model will be proposed that allows for a quantitative assessment of the contribution of various factors to the effectiveness of overcoming failures by NPO participants.
The report will be given by Maria Desyatova, a research assistant at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research. The debater is Konstantin Obukhov, candidate of philosophy, senior researcher at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research.
The working language of the seminar is Russian. The seminar will be held remotely.
