Seminar "Trusted communication between doctor and patient: an example of young doctors"
We invite you to take part in the seminar of the ILSIR, which will be held July 3 at 6 pm (Moscow time) and will be devoted to the topic "Trusted communication between doctor and patient: an example of young doctors".
The presentation will be held by Victoria Somova, a master student and member of the Research Group "Doctor-nurse-patient relationship: between professional authority and the powers of consumers of medical services". The discussant will be Ekaterina Sharepina, lecturer of the Department of Demography, junior researcher at the Scientific and Educational Laboratory of Social and Demographic Policy of the Institute of Demography named after A.G. Vishnevsky.
A key aspect of the study is the logic of building trust between doctors and patients, which is recognized as one of the most important parameters of the onset of recovery, at a level with the degree of development of medicine, the professionalism of the doctor and the severity of the patient's illness. How do young surgeons build trusting communication with patients? What is the role of trust in communication with the patient, according to young surgeons? How do the communicative practices of young surgeons differ in the cities of millions and medium and large cities of Russia? Are there differences in communication in different types of health care facilities?
The author will try to answer these and other questions as part of her presentation.
