Study of special educational conditions for children with special educational needs
In cooperation with the Agency for strategic initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects and the Institute of Education HSE, the the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research conducted a study of special educational conditions for children with special educational needs (not related to the categories of "children with disabilities" and "children with disabilities") in general education organizations. The research project involved conceptualizing the phenomenon of a Friendly educational environment, conducting a series of expert interviews with representatives of the academic community, state educational management structures, parent communities and teachers.
Project objectives:
- To familiarize the participants of the event with the results of the study of the possibility of creating special conditions for teaching children with special educational needs (not related to the categories of "children with disabilities" and "disabled children") in general education organizations.
- To present the opinions of the parent and expert community on the conditions necessary for children with special educational needs in general education organizations, the characteristics of a friendly environment.
- Discuss assessments of the current state, barriers and opportunities for creating a friendly environment for children with special educational needs.
