"Organization of the work of an interdisciplinary team with a case of violation of the rights of a minor" and "Organization of supervisory support of the process of providing social assistance to families with children"

The project "Development of an algorithm and mechanisms for conducting research on the effectiveness of the practices "Organization of the work of an interdisciplinary team with a case of violation of the rights of a minor" and "Organization of supervisory support of the process of providing social assistance to families with children" is aimed at developing the methodology of scientific and applied analytics in the field of evaluation research in the social sphere. The study involves a comprehensive assessment of the technology of prevention of social orphanhood, implemented through the practices of "Organizing the work of an interdisciplinary team with a case of violation of the rights of a minor" and "Organizing supervisory support of the process of providing social assistance to families with children": as an assessment of the dynamics of changes in the crisis situation in families based on the tools available to specialists working with families, as a professional assessment of technology by specialists themselves (curators and supervisors) and as a client assessment — members of the well-off families with whom work is being carried out on this technology. 

The project was completed. The results of the study show that the combination of practices "Organization of the work of an interdisciplinary team with a case of violation of the rights of a minor" and "Organization of supervisory support of the process of providing social assistance to families with children" has a generally beneficial effect and contributes to the families' recovery from a crisis situation. The greatest impact is observed in high- and medium-risk families. The drivers of a family's exit from a crisis situation are positive, resource-based social contacts of the family, as well as the presence of resource relationships within the family, awareness and acceptance of the existence of problems by parents in the family. Barriers to a family's exit from a crisis situation are conflict ties both within the family and in the network of its social contacts, refusal to recognize the presence of problems in the family. A possible direction for the development of technology for the prevention of social orphanhood and improving its effectiveness may be to focus on the needs of parents, and not just the needs of the child in the family.
