The thematic issue of the journal is devoted to the development of social policy in Russia and the countries of the European Union.
The editors of the issue were Linda J. Cook, professor Brown University, employee The Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University and the academic supervisor of our Laboratory, and Mike Titterton, professor, leading research at the ILSIR.
Linda J. Cook presented an article co-authored with Mike Titterton titled: "Mapping Shifts in Russian and European Welfare Polities: Explaining Policy Responses to Shared New Social Risks".
Also Linda J. Cook together with Elena R. Iarskaia-Smirnova and Vladimir Kozlov, published an article "Trying to Reverse Demographic Decline: Pro-Natalist and Family Policies in Russia, Poland and Hungary".
Daria Prisyazhniuk presented the article in collaboration with Sarah Wilson Sokhey on the topic: "Cracking the Nest Egg: Comparing Pension Politics in Post-Communist Russia and Hungary".
