The Laboratory staff took part in the preparation of a special thematic issue of the journal Europe-Asia Studies

Europe-Asia Studies

The issue of the journal Europe-Asia Studies, entitled Modernising Welfare in Russia and Other Post-Soviet States: De-Institutionalisation, Integration and Agency" was prepared a professor and Academic Supervisor of the Laboratory – Linda J. Cook and professor, Laboratory Head – Elena Iarskaia-Smirnova


The articles included in the issue cover a wide range of acute social problems related to isolation and inclusion in the sphere of decent aging, corporate social responsibility, policy and movement in relation to disabled people, healthcare reflected in public opinion, deinstitutionalization of children's social security, hidden educational programs in the education of migrant children, social security in Eurasia in in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
