Maxim Gurin and Danila Parshchikov took part in the conference “The Value of Everyone: Life Development of People with Mental Disabilities”
The conference was held on March 21-22, 2024 in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod, the participants of which were representatives of government and public organizations, charitable foundations, professional and parent communities.
On March 22, 2024, Maxim Gurin and Danila Parshchikov, research assistant of our Laboratory, spoke at the IV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “The Value of Everyone: Life Development of People with Mental Disabilities,” one of the organizers of which is the RNSO “Center for Curative Pedagogy” . The speech of our colleagues at the conference took place in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
As part of the discussion platform “Educational Accompanied Accommodation - Preparation for Living Life,” Maxim and Danila, together with Evgeny Shvedovskij, clinical psychologist, methodologist at the Federal Resource Center for Organization of Comprehensive Support to Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders of the MSUPE presented a report on the topic “Comprehensive program for the development of independence and adaptations of S.A.A.D.D.: assessment issues in preparation for assisted living.”
During the presentation, the speakers spoke about the educational accompanied residence program within the framework of the “Your key” project, an integrated approach to assessing the effects of the program’s implementation and the importance of paying attention to the development of not only independence skills, but also adaptation skills to new conditions and non-standard situations within the framework of the programs educational assisted living for adolescents and adults with disabilities.
