The Pinnacle Event for the Program – Graduation Ceremony 2023
On June 29, 2023, within the walls of the Higher School of Economics, the final chords of the momentous graduation evening for masters of the program "Socio-Economic and Political Development of Modern Asia" were sounded, marking the end of two years of hard work.
The annual diploma awarding ceremony for the graduates of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics took place on June 29. For many newly minted masters, this university graduation evening was their first in life due to the pandemic restrictions of the past few years. This greatly heightened the solemnity of the moment and, undoubtedly, left a warm and unforgettable impression in the memories of our beloved students.
The ceremony, conducted in an atmosphere of joy and gentle nostalgia, traditionally included donning of master's gowns, heartfelt congratulations, and farewell words from the faculty administration (A.B. Likhacheva and S.A. Karaganov), program academic supervisors (O.V. Volosyuk and T.V. Bordachev), and teachers (A.V. Zeltyn), as well as the long-awaited tossing of caps in the air after receiving diplomas.
We are proud of our graduates' accomplishments and are confident that their knowledge, skills, and talents will open doors to new, even more interesting and exciting chapters in their lives.
