III Round Table of Young Researchers «The Contemporary East: politics, society, economy»

On March 29, a Round Table was held on the topic of studying the prospects of the Global South, a group of developing countries of the world.

The Table participants shared their research with each other, talking about the interaction of the countries of the South with Russia, discussing China's activities in the Middle East, and raising interesting questions about the history and intercultural interaction in Africa, Korea, Turkey and Japan. Future and current researchers presented their reports in English language, showing up that the format of the event was international one and foreign students participated as well. An important outcome of the event was not only about nominations for successful research activities, but also about the opportunity to share contacts and receive an objective assessment of their work, as well as advice on their development. We hope that events of a similar format, accessible to young researchers, will be held in the future.
