Elmira Imamkulieva at the “China Forum: Dialogues of the Wise”

On December 2nd, 2024, “Chinese Forum: Dialogues of the Wise” took place, which was attended by Imamkulieva Elmira Elmanovna, the academic head of the Master's Program “Socio-Economic and Political Development of Modern Asia”.

The forum brought together leading experts, scholars and representatives of international organizations to discuss key global trends. Elmira Imamkulieva participated as an expert in the session titled “Rethinking Economic Globalization and Redefining the Roles of China and Russia”.

The forum served as an important platform for dialogue, addressing questions of the future of globalization, new models of international cooperation and intergovernmental partnerships. Participants shared their perspectives on modern challenges and proposed solutions to overcome them.

As part of the forum, Elmira Elmanovna held negotiations with representatives from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, CIIS, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Shenzhen University. The prospects for joint research, exchange of students and teachers, as well as participation in international educational initiatives were discussed.

Additionally, on the sidelines of the forum, Elmira Imamkulieva met with Mikhail Vladimirovich Karpov, who is one of the professors in the “Socio-Economic and Political Development of Modern Asia” program, where he teaches the course “Post-Totalitarian China and the Political Economy of Transition” and serves as Director of the Eurasian Studies Center at the MSU–BIT Shenzhen Joint University.

The “China Forum: Dialogues of the Wise” was not only a venue for sharing insights and analyzing global trends but also a significant platform for building international partnerships.
