HSE Representatives Participated in an International Conference at Jaypee Business School in India
The Fifth International Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management (ITQM 2017) took place from December 8 to 10, 2017, in New Delhi NCR, India. The event was jointly organized by the International Academy of Information Technology and Quantitative Management (IAITQM) and Jaypee Business School (JBS), India.
The conference agenda was dedicated to the theme “Creating Knowledge and Wisdom via Big Data Analytics” covering the broad range of topics related to advances in various fields of science and practice, such as Management, Economics and Finance, Business and Technology, etc. Conference participants included international representatives from India, United States, United Kingdom, France, China, Russia, etc.
Staff Members of the HSE School of Business Informatics, Dr. Zinaida Avdeeva, Olga Tsukanova and a 2nd year Student of the Master’s Programme “Big Data Systems”, Yash Madhwal, spoke at the conference.
Yash Madhwal presented and successfully defended his research paper “Planning in Aircraft Industry Based on Prediction of Air Traffic” that had been prepared in collaboration with Dr. Zinaida Avdeeva, who also gave a talk on the technology of the strategic goal-setting and monitoring of a system development on the basis of cognitive mapping. Olga Tsukanova spoke on the applied aspects of social network modelling by means of the dynamical system and random dynamical system concepts. In her second talk she has also covered the questions of the application of stochastic bifurcation theory to the early detection of economic bubbles.
