Academic Mobility - News on Cooperation with UAS «FH Technikum Wien»
On May 14-18, 2018, representatives of HSE School of Business Informatics made an academic visit to the UAS Technikum Wien – one of the leading partners of HSE School of Business Informatics – within the framework of Erasmus + Mobility Program.
HSE School of Business Informatics and UAS Technikum Wien have a long history of cooperation. The cooperation agreement between HSE School of Business Informatics and UAS Technikum Wien signed in 2014 provides for annual student’s exchange within Double Degree Programme, mutual visits of professors and teaching staff. Starting from 2015/16 academic year the partnership between Universities has been supported by Erasmus + Mobility Program. 22 graduates have already received Double Degree in Big Data Systems (HSE) and Information Systems Management (UAS Technikum Wien) and 10 students participate in the Double Degree Programme for the moment. The Partnership between the Universities within the framework of Double Degree Programme is also highly appreciated by diplomatic circles - the graduation ceremony for Double Degree students is usually held at the Austrian Residence in Moscow.
During the current visit the representatives of HSE School of Business InformaticsOlga Tsukanova and Yuri Zelenkov gave guest lectures.
Olga Tsukanova in her talk covered the topical questions related to social media. She discussed the main social media trends of nowadays and made a brief introduction to social network analysis explaining what a “social network” is as an object to analysis in terms of both scientific and practical application, as well as the possible goals of such analysis.
Yuri Zelenkov spoke about the Agility of Enterprise IT Strategy. He made a presentation of practical and theoretical results of 10 years research that author had held in the area of Enterprise IT strategies development and implementation. A brief outline: models, theories and the best practices.
The manager of Master’s Programme “Big Data Systems” (HSE), Ekaterina German, and administrative assistant of Information Systems Management (UAS), Daria Hofstetter, met with prospective students - participants of Double Degree Programme in Big Data Systems and Information Systems Management in the Center for International Relations (UAS). The newcomers expressed their strong interest to participate in the Double-Degree Programme and asked a lot of questions regarding the application process, requirements and features of accommodation in Moscow. The current participants of Double Degree Programme also joined this meeting and shared their experiences of studying at the Programme.
