Anna Efimova, a 1st year Master's student, has won the Helicon Science competition
The competition for research support was organized by Helicon for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing projects in molecular biology, biotechnology and related scientific disciplines
In total, more than 260 applications were submitted to the competition, 20 best projects made it to the semi-finals, and only 8 people participated in the finals. Anna Efimova with her project ‘Correction of the W1282 mutation in the CFTR gene in basal lung cells of a cystic fibrosis patient using an adenine base editor’ was among the winners.
