Requirements

The entrance exam for the Master's programme ‘Chinese Language in Intercultural Business Communication’ is held in the form of a portfolio contest.
Portfolio is a collection of documents that allow to evaluate the motivation of an applicant for the Master's programme, their previous experience, results of education and scientific activity, as well as to take into account and evaluate the creative potential and level of social involvement of the applicant. In addition to individual achievements, the portfolio takes into account the motivation letter and the interview.
The expert evaluation of the portfolio is carried out by the examination committee of the programme ‘Chinese in Intercultural Business Communication’. The examination committee evaluates the content of the documents submitted in the portfolio.


The portfolio considered by the examination commission upon admission to the Master's programme ‘Chinese Language in Intercultural Business Communication’ must include the following:
1. Documents of higher education not lower than the bachelor's level including the corresponding appendix.
2. Documents confirming individual achievements of the applicant.
3. Motivation letter.
4. Interview.

The portfolio must be submitted electronically and uploaded to the application form.
Official documents and certificates should be submitted as clearly readable scans.
Instructions on how to create a personal profile and how to use it can be found on the website of the Graduate Admissions Office of  Higher School of Economics. 
School achievements are not considered as part of the portfolio evaluation.


One of the components of the portfolio is an interview, which is conducted online or offline (at the applicant's request).
The interviews typically last from 15 to 25 minutes per applicant. As you apply for admission, you will be contacted by a programme representative who will schedule you for an interview.
