Winter School was organized by Faculty of Social Sciences

Our Master's programme presents brain-computer interface co-developed by Elizaveta Okorokova, 2nd year Master student, in Neuroimaging Methods Group of Centre for Cognition and Decision Making

Master's programme "Cognitive sciences and technologies: from neuron to cognition" opened the winter school with presentation of Brain-Computer Interface developed by Neuroimaging Methods Group of Centre for Cognition and Decision Making. Several students of our programme participated in the development. This technique allows direct connection of one's nervous system to computer. Brain-Computer interfaces can be used in various clinical applications such as neuroprosthetics and communication with patients in vegetative states.

Presentation was given by Ksenia Volkova, research assistant at Centre for Cognition and Decision Making. In addition, coordinator of the programme Dmitri Bryzgalov describes the opportunities provided by the programme for potential candidates.
